Autostart allows you to automatically run a program every time you
log in.  For example, if you always use PPL, then you can set your
autostart to PPL, and it will be started as soon as you log
into the system.  To set an autostart on your account, run the
autostart program and answer its questions.

& run autostart
password:		(enter your login password)
no autostart		(this is your current autostart)
new autostart? date	(enter your new autostart or <nl>)
&

and your autostart will be "date".

If the autostart you set is a file in your top level directory,
then it is interpreted as a top level shell command file.
Type <nl> as the new autostart to turn the feature off.
