This package was received indirectly.
A DECUS program library document accompanied the
distribution, but I don't see how to distribute that.
It was DECUS No. 11-70a, titled DOS BASIC, VERSION 2A.
The date is November 20, 1975.
Here are the author's comments:

Just "sh basicshell", it will build itself.
In basicshell, the ld is loaded with output thrown
away because there are man undefined globals to
be used for later expansion.
The file "/basic.dgn" must be there, or else you can
change the source.
CIVIL, FOOT, SNOOPY, and LEM are Basic programs - good demonstrations
of how BASIC works (If you get errors at Line 0,
run it anyway, it's a bug.)
