Dear Ken:

Enclosed is my complete listing for mini-explor as I am running it.
The show routine has been modified slightly to put out the two-character
screen clear sequence for the Tektronix.
I also set it so that carriage return does just that,
for overprinting, and new-line spaces ahead to the next
line.
That sort of strategy works on UNIX.
These characters are non-printing and non-spacing on my terminal,
so they don't show up on printed format.
Howver, there is sometimes a glitch in the top line printed, which
I am sure is a botch on my part in show.
.pp
The problem I am referring to is in the bottom of the picture.
In the enclosed examples, the last line is partial if the
area being 'chanjed' touches the bottom.
I admit I'm not sure what area is
being affected when the center of the rectangle is 1/2 the
width or height, and that value is even.
I assume that the middle point comes out right if the width or height
is odd.

Otherwise the program runs quite smoothly.
If you are interested, I
can give you size and time statistics.
