[D:\]inetver
Inet Version: 4.02y

[D:\]
	Have asked about this some time back without resolution - this installation is
some years old and been on 2 or 3 previous boxes - may need a new start from
scratch???

Hi All.

I saw this today.:

    http://www.smh dot com dot au/news/technology/oops-how-to-ctrl-alt-delete-48-billion/2007/03/22/117
4153207365.html

I did a "Find" on "OS/2" and "eCs" but nothing came up. Another firm
purportedly in the same business, was mentioned.

I am told that this is "old news", but I thought it may be of interest to
us all.

Regards

NICK

This is the original Warp 4 16-bit TCPIP stack.... mplayer
is built to use the 32-bit TCPIP stack....

Cheers,

Paul.

Hi Peter,

Definitely - AFAIR that's only the 16-bit version!

Hi Peter

>Inet Version: 4.02y

Get  <http://www.os2site.com/tcpip32.zip>
unzip tcpip32.zip into your x:\mptn\protocol directory, make sure
you backup the current files in that directory first.

Also in your config.sys, change

DEVICE=C:\MPTN\PROTOCOL\AFINET.SYS
to
DEVICE=C:\MPTN\PROTOCOL\AFINETK.SYS
and
DEVICE=C:\MPTN\PROTOCOL\SOCKETS.SYS
to
DEVICE=C:\MPTN\PROTOCOL\SOCKETSK.SYS

The K just means these are the 32bit files, the non K
are the 16bit files.

Cheers

You can perform a separate install of the 32 bit IP stack, V4.1 or V4.3
without having to perform a complete OS/2 reinstall.
