It will be a hiccup on the part of an assistant moderator - all the
postings to cctalk are vetted before being passed to cctech, and if you
select 'reject' rather than 'discard' I guess this is what happens.  In
other words, it wasn't deemed on-topic enough for cctech, but you should
not have received an explicit rejection.
