DEC RA82 data recovery

If you mean "I have an RA82 and I want some data from it"
then I expect a few people will pipe up here.

If you mean "I have an RA82 that has suffered a head crash/
been in a fire/etc. ..." then you may have a tough time.
About twenty years ago, when the Open University in the UK
suffered a computer room fire, DEC shipped the drives over
to the factory in Germany to recover the data. Good publicity
for DEC; no idea how much - if any - of the data they recovered.
