Or - the rest of the system is substandard and needs upgrading, thereby 
creating another income stream for the scam. [[ You *could* have heard 
quite a difference if you had my MongoBlaster 5000GXT... ]]

Very similar to "video-card-itis" nowadays - the issue isn't that it 
stopped working, it's that it doesn't play Doom 24... with a high enough 
frame rate.
