Not too long ago my son gave me a PDA that came with a magazine
subscription. You know things are commoditized when they hit that level. Or
they are "free after rebate" at the local store. (He was giving it to me for
the museum.) Anyway, I looked at it and said, who would use a PDA that
couldn't be synchronized with a backup device? Now I know. Somebody who
hangs out on a Vintage Computer List.
