Ok, I give. I'm afraid to try harder for fear of breaking it.... Just exactly how does one get the cover off an HP 262X terminal? I can't seem to find any service information. I have a few in poor condition I'm trying to consolidate into two good working ones. There may be leftover parts to offer to the list. Jay
