Don't know.
But at GSFC (Goddard Space flight Center), we used a
Stromberg-Datagraphics 4060 to do computer text
output direct to microfilm.

The only important thing that I did there was conversion routine to
send Calcomp plotter (570? 780?) data direct to the SD 4020/4060s
