I've met him, and he doesn't seem the kind to destroy rare stuff. Now if
he's got a bunch of something, maybe. He seems willing to store stuff for
a *long* time, waiting for a buyer.

Well, I suppose it is reasonable for him to ask for something over scrap
:-).
(Are there 6 ounces of gold in there? I wouldn't think anywhere near it,
but maybe they overdid it on the gilding :-).)
