Well a 1n4007 at RS may still be possible, likely 2 for 1.99.  I buy 
them 500 for $15 from JDRmicrodevices. Can never have enough spares.

The cap I'd likely hunt around for a junk radio or computer monitor
chassis and pull it from there.
