OT: EMP and Equipment

Faraday cage and unplugged... that's just my first impression, but I
think that would largely protect you, provided you weren't in the
blast radius.  Of course, this assumes that the method of EMP
production is "safe" enough that one has to worry about one's
collection (e.g. non-nuclear).
