I am not aware of a non I&D version of 2.11BSD... I used to do a bunch
with 2.9BSD on real hardware 18 years ago, and am pretty sure 2.9 is
the last one that runs on F-11 chips.

The F-11 chip (11/23, 11/24) does not have split I&D. The J-11
(11/53, 11/73) does, as do some of the "big" Unibus machines of the
day (11/44, 11/70 to name two).

I'm not an exhaustive expert, though... I only have a couple of Split
I&D machines and I've never done much with them. Most of my -11 time
is on smaller and older machines.

Right - 16 bit addressing only.
