I don't see why he has to be consistent.  Our hobby is - well, for most
of us it is - fundamentally an emotional one, and emotions often do not
follow logical rules.  "A foolish consistency..."

I do, though, think it a bit excessive of Tony to, in effect, criticize
(or at least criticise :) others for not sharing his feelings here.
