That's a good question.  I think that as long as the Altos uses the SA400 
(?) floppy bus (like the DSHD drive), it probably will work.  I've 
read/written DSQD disks using a DSHD floppy drive on a PC just fine.

I'd just give it a shot, you're unlikely to break anything. :)
