It sounded like maybe the question was whether the standard software
to utilize the reader/punch knew about a reader/punch on a serial
port vs. the standard PC11 interface. I don't know the answer to this
question, but I would guess that Remix (or some 3rd party) made a PC11
compatible interface for the Remix reader/punch.
