There was a discussion of cloning various PDP11 OSes a while back (2003) Google for "a PDP-11 question" as the subject. Someone with the handle of 'paramucho' had sources to a clone he had written. There was also someone who popped up around new years a few years ago claiming to have had one written by someone in Canada.
