I tend to make my highest bid something like $10.04 for example so somebody
would have to hit the next did increment $.50 or whatever to outbid me. If I
bid $10 and somebody won it for $10.01 I would feel silly, let them pay
$10.50. Generally if I get outbid its by a large amount anyway, since I am
cheep and look for good deals and not for average prices on ebay.
