Agreed.  I snipe auctions because I specifically don't want other people to 
monitor my ID and see what I'm bidding on.  It has nothing to do with being a 
cheapskate; I always think about a price for a minute, then set up the snipe 
with my maximum bid (MAXIMUM, not $1 or something), then walk away.
