Well, on the first machine I had that used a Courier-type font, you
typed the lower-case-letter-L for the numeral 1 and you typed
an uppercase-letter-O for the numeral 0. So they were not only
hard to distinguish, they were in fact identical...

I suppose that might be "Courier Old" :-).
