AMD bit-slice machines

ROCC (Redifon/Rediffusion Computers)in the UK made a
bit slice processor in the early 80's that ran the
Nova instruction set. I believe it was 2901-based. 

Shop floor rumour at the time had it that one of the
hardware engineers designed it as a graduate or
undergraduate project.
