Ah... that helps loads.
Unfortunately, the chip is so old that many of the 'hits' I've found
are dead ends.
This one in particular looked interesting, but it's not there anymore. :-(

Wow! That's a detailed reference - I think it'll be handy to
reverse-engineer the I/O on the board (switches, LEDs, and rotary
encoder).
