When did double-shot keytops disappear?

I'm liking the Matias TactilePro keyboard well enough (on an iMac G5).
But then I am also a Northgate OmniKey user (on PCs).  The keys feel
and sound about right to me.

Key cap logs are printed on top, not double-shot.
