To which I answer:  Desqview.  Desqview on my 386sx made me at least 6 times 
more productive, especially since bad coding on my part didn't lead to a crash 
on the computer's part.  After that I moved to OS/2 2.x so I could still have 
multitasking DOS that was even more robust than what Desqview could provide.
