OT: "Best" Linux Distro?

If I could get 'joe' to work with the new "context coloring", I might 
be down to that myself.  Instead, I need XEmac's thrown into the mix. 
Seriously, on Unix, or OpenVMS, what do you need a GUI for, other 
than to provide more terminal windows :^)

On OpenVMS, the only GUI app I ever use is the DECwindows version of 
"DEC Mail", and then only every few months.  In spite of this, I do a 
fair amount of "Word Processing" on VMS.
