Since someone mentioned stuff in London for pickup, it's a good time
to mention I'll be there for a week at the end of September.  Work is
sending me there for a conference at the Imperial College.  If anyone
on the list wants to have a beer or two, please write me off list and
I'm sure we can arrange a time and place.

It's not my first visit to London, but it's my first in 20 years. 
Let's put it this way... a pint of bitter was about 87p, and lager was
95p...
