That reminds me to set the 'power' button on my new PC to do just
that. When I want the computer OFF, I want it OFF!
(I hate OS crashes that go ZERO tasking kepping the off button
from working. )

I tend to use dual boot on this old PC and CTL-ALT-DEL reboots
free-BSD. Then while in the default BIOS screen I hit the OFF
switch.
