ever re-lubricate a 9-track tape?

While I haven't personally had any of my 9 track tapes re-lubricated, I have 
found that used, cleaned, re-lubricated 9-track tapes are much more reliable 
and error free than original "new" tapes I've purchased.  A bonus - used 
tapes are cheaper!
