OK, I admit I don't know as mcuh about it as you do. So could you please 
explain, in a way that an idiot like me can understand, why it's 
reasonable to charge people who contribute to the show more than those 
who just turn up to view. 

And please read what I've just said. I am not saying that those who 
contribute should necessarily get in free. I am not saying they should be 
paid for their time/trouble. Just that they shouldn't pay more than those 
who do sod all.
