Digital *printing* (which is what I said above) doesn't.  Well, at least 
the last time I checked, my Color LaserJet didn't look or sound much 
like a printing press. :)

Ask Hans for an explanation, I'm just (trying to) repeat what he 
explained in his talk at the VCF/Midwest.  I may have gotten a detail 
or two wrong.
