Screen Num 1

If you have a colour card and have not used MODE to suppress colours then you
can access these colour selection screens. You need to be using a colour
monitor now to appreciate these screens. First PAYCNFED gives you a large
swatch of each colour and asks which of them you wish to use as the background.

Screen Num 2

Then the upper part of the screen is changed to the background colour selected
and text in each of the foreground colours is written on it. You are then
asked to select one for the prompts. To provide contrast the data can be
a different colour. We will do that next.

Screen Num 3

We have already chosen background and prompt colours so these are put on the
screen with text in each of the colours available for data so you can get a
good idea what the combination will look like. When windows pop up the
remainder of the screen is dimmed to highlight the window, also the cursor uses
reversed text, so some combinations are not recommended. These are marked.

Screen Num 4

When you exit the colour choice the screen colours are set to their new values.
You can of course change them again any at any time. If you have a colour
card with a monochrome monitor and for some reason do not wish to use MODE to
suppress colour then you will wind up in this routine. We suggest you pick
Background 0, Prompt 7, Data 15 for best legibility on a Mono monitor.
