This is the first of two disks aimed at the PKZIP enthusiast,
starting with the MS/PC-DOS version of PKZIP and including a
variety of utilities, some of which will work with other
compression programs as well.

             Better known as PKZIP, this is Phil Katz's file compression
             program for MS/PC-DOS systems. Included in this release is
             faster and more compact archives, improved self-extracting
             file creation, and a fix for problems caused by some programs
             written for 286 systems and used on 386/486 systems. This is
             collection of files in a self-extracting archive. Just type
             PKZ110<cr> on a disk with at least 320K of available space.
