	KMSKIT Update #1 for RSX11M V4.0

The files in these directories represent bug fixes to the
KMSKIT V4.0 released on the RSX Spring 1982 Decus tape. In most
cases the fixes are minor changes in command files. Two major bug
fixes exist. One for SYSLOG which allowed an incorrect assembly to
occur if XDT was selected, and one for HELLO which allowed an odd address
trap to occur under certain circumstances. Other changes primarly
relate to changes to installation command files. Some of these changes
were caused by omitted .ENABLE lines. Our version of indirect enables
substitution and globals by default, so often these are omitted from
command files.

As was warned on the spring tape, KMSKIT V4.0 may well be the
last release of KMSKIT for RSX. Whether or not it is available for
V4.1 of RSX depends on a wide variety of factors but mainly on the
availability of my time which is primarily being spent these days on
VMS, CAMAC and Image Analysis. If the availability of KMSKIT for V4.1
is critical to your operation several options exist; 1) do it yourself,
2) hope I have time to do it as a midnight project, 3) provide incentives
for KMS to allocate "non-midnight" project time to implement KMSKIT,
4) try and talk KMS into offering it as a "product" (given our prime
funding source this may not be possible).
