NAME
mv - move (or rename) a file

SYNOPSIS
       mv file1 file2

DESCRIPTION
Mv changes the name of file1 to file2. If file2 already exists,
it is removed before file1 is renamed. On networks or other
systems where a simple rename is impossible, mv copies the file
       and then deletes the original.

FILES
       None

SEE ALSO
       The Unix command 'mv'

DIAGNOSTICS
A message is printed if file1 does not exist.
