		Software release description.

This software is released in the spirit of the RSX/IAS user's
group, and the usual disclaimers hold for these programs.
Any problems encountered, or suggestions, or even bug fixes,
should be sent to:

	Mark Johnson
	Atmospheric Sciences Division
	Room 204

The following is a list of the ASD UICs, and a few helpful?
comments. Please note that many of the programs require two libraries
before they can be built. These libraries are on [340,6], however,
the command files refer to HG:[111,1] to access the libraries. If
this UIC is unavailable, the command files may be edited.

			GOOD LUCK!

	ASDEXP.TXT	-This explanation file.

[340,2] ASD MAIL - Inter-user message facility
There are two tasks used to support ARC mail: the MAIL task,
and the notification task. The MAIL task is built from an
object library (MAIL.OLB), the noification task is built from
	source.

	MAIL.RNO	-Documentation.

	MAIASM.CMD	-Assemble individual MAIL routines.
	MAITKASM.CMD	-Assemble the notification task.
	MAITKB.CMD	-Taskbuild the MAIL task.
	MAITKTKB.CMD	-Taskbuild the notification task.
	THEMAIL.CMD	-Build the works.

	MAICSPARS.MAC	-Source for MAIL modules.
	MAIDAY.MAC
	MAIDEFINE.MAC
	MAIDIE.MAC

	MAITERM.MAC

MAITSK.MAC	-Source for the notification task.

	MAIL.MAP	-Example maps.
	MAITSK.MAP

MAIL.MLB	-Macro libraries used by MAIL.
	MAIMCR.MLB

	MAIL.OLB	-Object library for MAIL.

[340,3] ASD disk space accounting system. This system is intended
to monitor disk space usage continuously, and to notify
users who are exceeding their specified limit. A total of
"disk-block-hours" is maintained for each user. No files
are deleted by this system, nor is any user prevented from
taking as mush space as he wants. However, the space is
counted, and the warning messages are VERY ANNOYING.
Files are located using the index file, so synonyms are not
counted twice, and lost files are counted. This could
be slow on a big disk. One pass through our 3 FULL RK06s
takes about 10 seconds, and does not seem to interfere much.

	DCNTMAC.CMD	-assemble the maintenace program.
	DCNTTKB.CMD	-taskbuild the maintenance program.
	DSKMAC.CMD	-assemble the block counter.
	DSKTKB.CMD	-taskbuild the block counter.

DCNT.MAC	-source for the maintenance program.
DSKACN.MAC	-ditto for the block counter.
PREDAF.MAC	-a prefix file for both of the above.

	DCNT.MAP	-example maps.
	DSKACN.MAP

[340,4]	ASD-expanded version of DECUS FODT. Added features include:

[340,7]	Assorted ASD utilities. The command file ONETSK.CMD may be
