ISU RNOTHESIS is a collection of high-level RUNOFF macro
commands that can be used by the novice RUNOFF user to
format a thesis with minimal effort. There are commands for
generating floating tables and figures, in-line equation
lists, footnotes, points, quotations, and a bibliography.
Some provisions have been included to assist in the
automatic generation of a table of contents, list of tables,
and list of figures.

Although RNOTHESIS is being used to format theses according
to the Iowa State University thesis office requirements, its
macros can be adjusted to support any large document layout.

RNOTHESIS must run under Bonner Lab RUNOFF (version 8.0) as
distributed on the Fall '85 DECUS SIG tape. Earlier
versions of Bonner RUNOFF will not work.
