hmm, never realized that (as I use FF/2 1.5)

I just tried with FF/2 3.01 that I found I must've installed, yes, it made
a PDF

is there a way to backlevel? the pdf to be openable by Acrobat/2 ?

Acrobat/2 won't open with bad cmap error

You probably don't have the latest Acrobat reader for OS/2 ? I'll send
you it off-list.

Thanks for the link John, but I already have commercial products that do
this under Windoze.

What I am trying to get is some way to have the OS/2 port of FF v 3.x
be able to print to an actual physical printer at present it can only
create PDF files on the desktop. Shame, because apart from that glitch,
FF/2 v 3.53pre seems to be a good, stable, quick browser!

Cheers/2
Ed.

Apologies, Ed, sounds like I got your request backwards.

But anyone else who wants to do the Print to PDF on Windoze trick doesn't
have
to spend money on a commercial solution. You are welcome to go to the URL
and see what's required.

On eCS I still use GSView (licensed a long time ago) plus recent releases
of GhostScript, along with Lucide.
