I didn't even know there was an OS/2 version. I was answering the quote
above. I've learnt something :-)

Well, no actually. Not since my last eCS box was put to pasture. I
haven't had an eCS box for over a year now. Now I enjoy hardware
support ;-)
Don't think that my almost 11 yrs with OS/2 aren't fondly remembered
though. If it was supported as well as Linux I'd still be there, coz
underneath it's still ahead of the time. It just got sick of wishing
that I could use modern hardware without all the hassles.

Cheers

Dont all of these codecs require you to be running ODIN and WarpVideo ?
- I didn't think these would work with MPlayer ?

with very new hardware on Linux as well.Hmm, Are you saying you don't
get hassles with the latest hardware under Linux ?? I think you'll
probably get less but I know there are often hassles I guess Project
Voyager should be of interest to you ? (WPS on BSD base).

Cheers/2

It appears on my new system, that if I enable legacy USB support, USB
printing stops working ? Has anyone else seen this and know why ?

Once I disable legacy USB support in the system BIOS, printing via USB
works again.

Thanks Mike and Ed,

I have actually now accessed the site. I couldn't get into it on my
lad's XP-box either, even after following those instructions.

Then I twigged.

The alpha-numeric password I was given is case-sensative.

Mozilla worked fine.

I'll crawl back in my box now. :-!

Cheers

Hi Leigh,

Glad to know it all worked out in the end!
