Not quite Kris :)

He wants to "upgrade" from V2 Full version to v3 Lite

It might still be better to upgrade straight to PMFax v3 full
version from the CDS-Inc web site (current owners of
Faxworks/PMFax)

No what I want to do is still have faxworks 2.0 installed so I can use the
OCR engine on it as there is no improvement in the engine in ver 3 that I'm
aware of, and use the lite version to act as my fax/answering machine with
my fax/voice modem.

Otherwise I'll have to install win-os2 and use the sw that came with my
modem which I don't want to do.

What I want to achieve is this, modem acts as fax/answering machine using
faxworks lite v3, if I need ocr then I'll pass it thru faxworks 2.0 full
version, otherwise I'll use win9x to do the ocr. Then use Organiser from
Smartsuite act as my phone dialler, as I'll use my headset which I bought
for VT to talk hands free. Where ever possible I'm looking for an os/2
solution, so the question is how do I intsall faxworks v3 lite from my warp4
cd onto my wseb machine

cheers...stan

TCP/IP V 4.1 and higher supports IPSec based - standards compliant VPN
over
an IP network. I say standards compliant - this means OS/2 and *nix
OK, but I can't vouch for Windoze - perhaps with a third party IP stack
such as Windows 95 IPSec Client (supplied with the eNetwork Firewall
for AIX)?

Short answer No - it's not supported.

From the CP Readme:-

1.0 SYSTEM PREREQUISITES
_________________________

The following are the minimum system requirements for the Convenience
Package:

o 133 MHz Intel-compatible Pentium(R) system
o 32 MB RAM (minimum); 64 MB recommended
o 250 MB for the base installation plus default installed
   components; 500 MB recommended

If you are running one of the following operating systems, you can
"migrate" your system--that is, you can install the Convenience
Package on top of your existing operating system:

    Warp 3
    Warp Connect
    Warp Server Client
    Warp 4

If you are not running one of these operating systems, it is
recommended that you format the partition where you plan to install
the Convenience Package instead of installing the Convenience
Package directly over an existing copy of the operating system.

Cheers/2

Ed Durrant.
