Johns correct, I checked an email he sent to me a while ago, and
it does, and did, and still does, say the 4th Tuesday of every month,

I just have No 3 on the brain !!! Also teachs me not to answer
emails before I've had my second caffeine fix.

It is as Johns says, 26/6/01.

Subject: [os2genau] Fwd: [eCS] Not really eCS related, but very interesting...

For everyone to read all the way through (it's LONG) and absorb the
implications please...

Steve Gibson is doing us a HUGE favour here.

Anyone who is using Win-OS2 for their Internet connection may need
to test carefully, those of us (most or all I hope) using native
OS/2 should still do the test but can expect a safe answer.

It's an article by Steve Gibson about DDoS attacks. He was the
victim of one in March, and did a bunch of research.

Here's the URL:

Definitely worth reading... plus (in the long term) we may want to
look at what we can do to deal with this sort of thing effectively.
Zampa/tcpip4.3 could play a large role...
