Sorry to hear your moving off OS/2 - eCS Kev, for the record and perhaps
as useful input to Serenity and others, what was the reason for your
move ? Lack of supported hardware ? Lack of required applications ?

All the best for the future anyway,

Cheers/2

Mainly lack of support for modern hardware, plus difficulty in getting
the few apps available to run properly. Every little thing is a fight
to get working. I have no doubts that the underlying OS of OS/2 is
still far superior to anything yet available for PCs - particularly the
WPS. If it could have been thrown to OSS (I know the reasons why it
couldn't) or if IBM had shown an interest in marketing it properly,
Linux and Windoze would have been consigned to the museum.

Alan has been taken care of offlist. I also suspect that the license
maybe non-transferable even if the link worked. So any further
emails about this are best handled offlist.

I've removed the information from the current emails per registration
information from the current emails for tonights digest and the archive
so PLEASE dont send the registration info to this list, ie if you must reply
to the list in relation to this email please cut the registration info out.

Cheers

Thanx Ian

It was originally a slip-up late at night - I didn't mean to publish
that info to the list.

I just realise I've done it again, but not so bad this time. Better
reply to me off-list.
