If Windows sucked it would be good for something.

Do you still have Mozilla installed?

From memory - Firefox is probably trying to use parts of the Mozilla
installation.

You also need to get rid of all references to Mozilla in the os2.ini and
os2sys.ini files.
Then you will not have to close Thunderbird and restart Firefox.

Regards
Dennis.

Morning Dennis,

No I got rid of Mozilla, but I haven't played with any INI's. What
tools are used to edit INI files?

Cheers

Nope ! - removed all MOZILLA references in OS2.INI and OS2SYS.INI using
INIMAINT - still get the error !

Start TB 1.5

Start FF 1.501

Go to www.ecomstation dot com

- NSPR4.DLL error.

Also went through REGEDIT2 (this updates the Windows like registry DAT
files as well) - no improvement.

Ran Internet Application Integration, reseting and applying locations to
OS2.INI - still no change.

I have the same setup installed. Clicked on the URL and away I went.

After you ran my little integration tool, did you check the Firefox and
Thunderbird objects? Firefox should execute FIREFOX!.EXE and
Thunderbird should execute THUNDERBIRD!L.EXE. You may also need to
either reset the WPS or reboot to clean out any loaded DLLs.

So we still have to use RUN! then ?

That's a shame - it shouldn't really be necessary, but if that's the
solution - fine, I'll try it. Could take a little while - I'm in the
process of backing everything up and installing a new harddrive is the
existing one has started failing.

OK that fixed it however both Firefox and Thunderbird now take
noticeably longer to load.

Subject: RSJ Popup

Hi,

Could someone advise me how to stop the RSJ Writer Error Log screen of
RSJ appearing?
It's there when my Desktop loads and keeps popping up. I uncheck the
"Enable Popup" radio button which helps for a while but it reappears
when shutting down and is there again on rebooting with the "Enable
Popup" radio button again checked.

Regards,

Alan Duval

I am not an expert, but I suspect requirement for run! has something to
do with the way OS/2 handles call to dlls.

I usually open Firefox and Thunderbird soon after booting and keep them
minimized.
