A Foxtel salesman was just at the door trying to persuade my wife to
join-up.
My wife repeatedly told him that she was not interested. He of course
tried to point out the supposed benefits and alluded to the poor
programs on free to air.
My wife told him that we didn't watch much tv, so then he went on about
what did we do, computers etc. He seemed to disbelieve her and asked her
what we did at night if we weren't watching tv.
She replied that there's plenty of good reading in the bible.
That shook him, it wasn't one of the replies he had been expected.
He was in fact speechless and quickly pissed off.

So if you get a pesky door to door salesman make out you are a religious
nutter and they should run like hell.

Disclaimer: Don't try on The Mormons, Seventh day adventists or the JW's.

Regards

Dennis.

Ask for salesmans name, then state that you are going to compaint to ACCC
about the TRADE PRACTICES ACT.

If he is so dense to remain, he deserves the $20,000 personal fine.
