Although the recommended minimum for OS/2 Warp 4 at current
code levels is a Pentium 133 or better with at least 32MB,
preferably 64 MB memory, it doesn't stop you from installing
a'la Windoze, if you machine is below spec. There's several
things you can do to improve performance on low powered warp
boxes as well. In fact when tuned, my experience is that Warp 4
runs faster than warp 3, but this really does depend on what it's
being used for.

If anyone's interested. I can go through my suggestions for
tuning a minimum spec W4 machine.

Actually WSOD is already optimised for such configurations.

Subject: [os2genau] ubject: [OT] NZ cellular communications

Hi,
I have friends emmigrating to Auckland NZ.
They currently have an Orange CDMA cellular phone.
They own the phone outright, there is no contractual obligations.

Does anyone on this list live in NZ & know the cellular phone market
there?
What carriers provide CDMA coverage?
Is the coverage better than GSM, or would they be better-off using GSM?
What about price?
How competitive are CDMA prices compared to GSM?
