Subject: [os2genau] Next meeting?

Hi All,
I'd like to know when the next meeting is, as I'd love some help
with the DDNS and DHCP working with Win2K. The DHCP bit works, but the
DDNS bit isn't.

Subject: [os2genau] Hoblink X11

I'm trying to get Hoblink (from the eCS bonuspak) to work, but when I try to
start the X server I get a popup message "Fatal Error" "TCP_IP Task not
found".
There is virtually no documentation, and certainly nothing about error
messages. The Hoblink web site has downloadable manuals for Windows
versions, but not for OS/2, and they aren't any help.

Has anyone seen this error before? Or got Hoblink to work successfull?

Thanks.

Neil

Sounds like you're not on the correct level of TCPIP - you say
you're trying to run the program from the eComstation bonuspack, but
are you trying to run it on eComstation or OS/2 Warp ??

If you're running OS/2 DDNS server, I suspect Windows 2000's AD
won't work with it (ie use it).

Can you clarify if you're talking about DDNS client on OS/2 Warp
talking to a W2k server, and if so is your W2k domain running in
Native or Mixed mode and if the latter do you have the WinNT
compatibility option (PDC emulator Operations master)on the domain
controller ?

Or are you talking about DDNS runing on an OS/2 Warp Server for
e-business machine, possibly along with DNS and DHCP, to support
Win2k Professional clients ?

Cheers/2
