Must be something at my system then. After backing out and replacing by the previous 2.00
version, I had the 3th button back again.

I now have a fully functional OS/2 machine and am looking forward to

Ed,

He left out the "Y" after "serenit" <-- should have been "serenity".

Try:-
http://www.serenity-systems dot com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ExecMacro/SSI/main.d2w/report

I just tried it and it works.

OK !

  It's interesting that there's a download for DTOC.ZIP
as the last item in the bar on the left handside of the DTOC
online manual. I wonder if this is a trial version or the full
version ?? Has anyone downloaded and tried it yet ?

Hello Mike

yes it is the Boot Drive. but I usually am zipping it up from a maintenance partition ie
I boot from the D Drive then zip the C Drive to the data partition. Why do you ask? I
am tintillated that you may have the answer!

Hi Graham,
I meant is it the "currently-booted" partition, in which case you would have been having
trouble with open files, net.acc etc.
Maybe you have references to something on C-drive in the os2.ini/os2sys.ini on the
maintenance partition - if you happen accidentally to open the C:\desktop whilst booted from
maintenance partition, this will show up in <maint-drive-letter>\os2\os2sys.ini as a "key"
of C:\DESKTOP in Application "FolderWorkareaRunningObjects" - which is invariably the first
entry (alphabetically sorted), which is the way I always leave it in Unimaint. In
<maint-drive-letter>\os2\os2.ini check the entries under Application "PM_Workplace:Startup"
to make sure that when the
boot is from <maint-drive-letter>, that you are not also starting e.g. the C:\desktop etc.
check in the PM_Workplace:Templates that you don't have any from C:-drive. Have you done a
chkdsk c: /f:2 on the C-drive from the booted maintenamce partition?
HTH
Mike

Hi Bob,
I imagined that's what it was, as the eCS dtoc.zip was about 8.5MB or 7MB larger!
