I guess, as I've survived all this time, deprived of Real Audio, perhaps
they're not that critical.

I guess it would mean I'd need to actually plug in, and, switch 'ON' my
nice Sony speakers.

I guess it means I can stay on the web with OS/2, silently...

what do all these 'more and more' plugins do for me ?

if they simply 'enhance my experience' ?, than, I guess I don't need them.

It would have been better if it was in english.

Subject: [os2genau] Whopee !!! USB Working !!!!

I have just installed the OHCI USB drivers for OS/2 and I am
glad to report, apart from having to add the statements manually
to my Config.sys file (probably due to previous failed attempts
when trying to install the UHCI ones). All is working. I have
installed the USBPRT.SYS device driver as well, which
gives me the USB port as a selection in the printer properties,
popped in the USB cable, removed the parrallel cable to my
Epson 680 printer and I'm now printing via USB !!

This is an important step for OS/2. The previous "intel standard"
drivers only worked with Intel or VIA chipsets. This new Open
architecture set is likely to work with many more (my PC uses
an SIS chipset).

Cheers/2

Ed.

P.S. Note: you need USBD.SYS and USBHID basedev files from
the UHCI driver to use with the OHCI driver.
