If it was similar to my Sony VAIO laptop (1998-Sony OEM
Win98), the preinstalled software for DVD playback was
Mediamatics - which was customised for the hardware MPEG-1
onboard, as was the Sony DVGate DVMotion & DVStill/ Adobe
Premiere video-editing suite - the first available on a
laptop - about 18 months before Apple's i-Movie laptops.

Hi,

You're running OS/2 on your Sony VAIO? I was thinking about purchasing one but
could not find any info on OS/2 compatability.

Cheers
