If your PC is seeing all the RAM, you probably have a modern
PC with is equiped with a chipset that enables your motherboard
to utilise the installed RAM you have, in non ECC mode.

If you do need to check, you can download

http://www.os2site dot com/sw/util/system/sysinfo088.zip

or Dani's updated patchldr (updated) from

http://www.os2site dot com/sw/util/memory/patchldr.zip

It has a small utility to check the ram but you will need
to boot to DOS using either another partition on your PC,
or from Diskette.

Steve,
Download http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/system/patches/patchldr.zip and in there
is a program to check how much memory OS/2 is detecting.

Regards,

Paul.

Alternatively, there is a utility which I think is just called MEM.ZIP on
Hobbes which will tell you. It's a command line proggy like the dos "mem"
command.

I wouldn't have a clue.... (nor would I care to know)

I run OS/2, if I need a windoze app for whatever reason, I think I'll just
use windoze for that, somehow, I suspect, that'll be a lot simpler, and,
easier...

I disagree ( a little ) - I see the addition of capabilities to OS/2 as an
advancement to Operating System. If I have to stop using what I regard
as my base system and restart it just to be able run a windo$e program
- in this case to view a DVD, I think the whole concept of multitasking
on a system is lost.

Cheers/2
